another name – Omnicef, which is its generic form.

Nursing mothers
are able to feed their infants, but only after consulting with a doctor,
because this drug usually doesn’t passes with breast milk. However, it is a
proven fact that other drugs of the similar kind can be excreted into breast
milk. So, it is better to inform a healthcare practitioner about it before
starting to take this medication in order to avoid any unwanted effects in the
future.
