Side Effects Caused by Yaz-28

At present, there are many oral contraceptives that are available out there. A woman should choose the most suitable one for her based on several important factors, and only after consulting with a healthcare provider. That’s because it is better to avoid any complications with hormones. Yaz-28 is considered to be one of the most widely used oral contraceptives nowadays.

This kind of medication usually contains synthetic forms of progesterone and estrogen. The usage of Yaz-28 is limited by 28 days of a menstrual cycle. It means that for the first 24 days every user should take one pill a day. These tablets contain a certain combination of synthetic hormones. Besides, women need to take special pills without such hormones for the remaining 4 days. This kind of intake is considered to be a very effective way to control unwanted birth.

However, there are some certain side effects that are associated with taking Yaz-28. These can be same when compared to other existing oral contraceptives. They may include such unwanted symptoms as: mild nausea, breakthrough bleeding, emesis, breast tenderness, abdominal cramping, weight gain, dizziness, headaches, vaginal itching and discharge, changes of the skin color, and so on. It means that women should be ready to experience some of these side effects mentioned above. If they notice any of such symptoms, it is highly recommended to consult with a doctor right away.
